Chris Britt is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chime. Previously, Chris served in multiple roles at Green Dot, including Chief Product Officer and SVP of Corporate Development. Chris also held senior positions at Visa and ComScore.
In 2024, Britt received the Tulane Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year Award. A Tulane graduate with a bachelor’s degree in history, he is a member of the Tulane Board of Directors. Britt also serves as a board member of CoachArt, a non-profit that connects chronically ill children with free lessons in the arts and athletics. At Chime, he founded and serves on the Board of Chime Scholars Foundation, pledging 1% of Chime Financial equity to fund college and other post secondary education for aspiring students.
Ryan King
Ryan King
Ryan King is the co-founder of Chime and has served in varying positions overseeing the company’s product and technology organizations. Ryan was previously VP of engineering at Plaxo until its acquisition by Comcast, and then worked at Comcast Silicon Valley Innovation Center as chief technology officer and vice president. He also held senior engineering roles at Liberate Technologies and Microsoft. Ryan earned a B.S. in computer science & engineering from UCLA and an M.S. in computer science from Stanford University.
Mark Troughton
Mark Troughton
Mark Troughton is Chime’s President, overseeing product, operations, risk, corporate development and strategy. Before joining Chime, he was the president of Ring.com, where he led the company through its acquisition by Amazon. Previously, Mark held leadership positions at Whisper, Wonga.com, and Cards & Network at Green Dot Corporation. Mark earned both a BCom and MCom in finance and accounting from University of Cape Town.
Janelle Sallenave
Janelle Sallenave
Janelle Sallenave is Chime's Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that members have an optimal experience with Chime’s banking services, as well as overseeing planning, data and analytics, internal AI initiatives, and overall business operations for the company. She previously ran the Uber Eats business for US and Canada, and spent more than a dozen years at Charles Schwab in a variety of strategy and leadership roles. Janelle earned a BA in mathematics and BS in systems engineering from University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in operations research from Stanford University.
Jeff Currier
Jeff Currier
Jeff Currier is chief technology officer at Chime, responsible for leading the company’s engineering organization and driving innovation, product velocity, and technical excellence. Jeff joined Chime from Galileo Financial Technologies, a SoFi company, where he was chief technology officer and led the company’s transformation to the cloud. Prior to Galileo, he was vice president of engineering at SoFi, where he led development of the SoFi Money product. Jeff also held engineering leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, Twitter where he introduced consumer and live video to the service, and Microsoft, where he was a founding member of the Azure SQL Database team and launched the Azure platform. Jeff holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Michigan.
Matt Newcomb

Matt Newcomb is Chime’s chief financial officer, responsible for leading Chime’s financial strategy and overseeing finance, accounting, investor relations and capital markets. Previously, Matt was a startup founder and served as a VP in BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory practice and Portfolio Analytics group. Matt earned a B.A. in international relations from Brown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Vineet Mehra

Vineet Mehra is Chime’s Chief Growth Officer, leveraging data-driven and cultural marketing strategies to drive efficient member growth and brand love. Previously, Vineet served as Global Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where he led the $100B company through COVID-19, and as Chief Growth Officer at Ancestry, where he led the launch of AncestryDNA creating and shaping the consumer genomics category. Vineet began his career shaping iconic brands at P&G and J&J, having served as Global President Marketing Services where he oversaw over $3 Billion USD in media spend around the world, and later serving as Global President of J&J’s Baby Care Division. Vineet has been named by Forbes as one of the World’s 50 Most Influential CMOs, one of Business Insiders’s Most Innovative CMOs, and by Adweek as one of the Top 20 CMOs in Tech.

Jennifer Kuperman is a proven international communications and marketing leader with deep experience leading teams and shaping corporate narratives for some of the world's most recognized brands. Jennifer has led programs for organizations and brands at key inflection points such as IPOs, executive transitions, crises, mergers and brand re-positionings.
Kuperman is currently the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Chime, a financial technology company. Previously, she was the Head of International Corporate Affairs for Alibaba Group where she developed and managed the global communications strategy and stakeholder engagement for Alibaba. Prior to Alibaba, Kuperman was Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Marketing and Reputation at Visa Inc., and also previously served as the Chief of Staff to Visa’s CEO. Kuperman began her career as a management consultant with Accenture.
Jennifer is an active board member of Post Holdings (NYSE: POST) and Bellring Brands (NYSE: BRBR). She also sits on the board of CoachArt, a non-profit organization founded to match kids affected by serious illness with volunteers who can teach them arts or athletics skills. Jennifer received a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and their two daughters.

Sarah Wagener is Chief People Officer at Chime, responsible for leading the company’s people strategy, culture, and employee experience. She brings more than 25 years of experience across all areas of human resources, with a track record of scaling inclusive, high-performing teams at high-growth companies.
Before joining Chime, Sarah was founder and CEO of Lucky 13 Advisors, where she advised first-time People executives. Previously, she was Chief People Officer at DoorDash, where she guided the company through rapid growth and its IPO. She also held senior leadership roles at Pandora, Facebook, and Genentech, leading talent, recruiting, and people strategy and operations functions.
Sarah serves on the advisory boards of Shape Therapeutics and Ursus, and is a board member at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. She holds a B.A. in journalism from Humboldt State University.
Adam Frankel

Adam Frankel is Chime’s general counsel and corporate secretary, leading the legal and compliance teams at the company. Before joining Chime, Adam served as general counsel for CBAM, Evercore and Genesee & Wyoming. Adam previously held positions with Ford Motor Company and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He earned a B.A. in economics from Brown University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.
Xiongwen Rui

Xiongwen Rui is Chime’s chief risk officer, where he leads the credit, fraud, financial crime, and enterprise risk management and is responsible to uphold and maintain the trust and safety of the Chime community. He joined Chime from Ant Group, where he served as Head of Security and Risk Management. Prior to joining Ant Group, he was SVP and head of global fraud risk management at American Express, where he worked for over two decades in a variety of roles, including chief credit officer of International Card Service. Xiongwen graduated from Peking University and received his Ph.D. from Ohio State University.
